Days here are simple: the two beaches, the walk out to the lighthouse, the drive east over the Laguna Garzón bridge, and whatever the wind allows.
Punta del Este is about 35 km away, roughly 40 minutes by car, which is close enough for a day out and far enough that José Ignacio keeps its own pace.
